www.jython.org is CNAMEd to vhost.sourceforge.net but jython.org is A'ed
to 66.35.250.210 which doesn't seem to exist.
Would be nice to have www.jython.org and jython.org be the same. Just
imagine how many keyboards will be saved from an early death due to "w"
key overuse. :)

This is a known problem.
It will be resolved as part of the larger effort to move jython's
website to python.org infrastructure.
Therefore, closing this as a duplicate of
Move Jython's website to python.org infrastructure
