I just ran the installer under Windows XP and got the message: try path C:\Documents and Settings\vos\Desktop\ can not get flavour null for os 'Windows_XP' Qouting http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp: ---- OS Platform Statistics Windows XP is the most popular operating system. The windows family counts for nearly 90%: ---- Windows XP is the defacto windows and a good installer should recognize it as Windows. At least it should not default the dialog that pops up to show "Unix" in this case.

Her's another one that can probably be closed. The Jython Windows installer now is quite good.
