Somehow I "removed" instead of "replied" to Stefan's comment. Oops! Presumably thinking of a different UI. Reposting: Stefan Richthofer added the comment: "One" more thing: - We probably should re-enable test_logging in the test-suite again. - If there are no concerns, I'd like to close all other deadlock issues related to this phenomenon (Resolution: duplicate) and add a final note with link to this issue. - If there are no concerns, I'd change the title of this issue to something like "occasional freezes due to StackOverflowError in finally block" (I will do this stuff as my time allows)
