When trying to browse for the target directory during graphical installation, the JFileChooser won't open under certain circumstances. This is due to http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6544857 Possible workarounds: - do not press the "Browse" button - reboot the system (as suggested in one of the related java bugs) I never had this problem on Windows XP, but after switching to Vista all the time. And in several other Java applications as well. There is no known fix at the moment.
